Leeds Festival 2026 live: Latest updates from Friday as Florence + the Machine set to play at Bramham Park
Stick with all the updates from day two of Leeds Festival
It is the calm after the storm as Leeds Festival prepares to kick-off its first full day of live music this year.
For the very first time, festivalgoers were treated to some spectacular performances from the likes of Kasabian on Thursday night (August 27). Serving as a tasty amuse-bouche before the weekend’s full action is served.
Despite the downpour and warnings of thunderstorms there was a great atmosphere on the opening night. People were sprinting from the camping area as Arkayla, the first band of the weekend, took to the main stage.
The weather forecast does look a bit iffy for the rest of the festival with more rain expected. But these photos show that even the weather couldn’t keep people from enjoying themselves on day one.
If you are wondering how much a pint of beer will cost you this weekend, we’ve got a full breakdown of the drinks prices. See the list here.
The Yorkshire Evening Post will be live at Bramham Park across the full Leeds Festival this year. Follow all the updates, reactions, pictures and videos in our live blog from day two and recap the first night as well.
