- Here’s your guide to what’s coming up in Leeds and a few of our highlights you might be looking forwards to.
Well... It’s going to be a busy end before Christmas in Leeds, isn’t it?
Alongside the Leeds Christmas Markets opening up, an absolute treasure trove of concerts is also set to take place in the city over the next fortnight - from the big hitters taking over the First Direct Bank Arena, to those hallowed venues such as the Brudenell Social Club, PROJECT HOUSE and Belgrave Music Hall also offering something a little left-of-centre for those who want something different to Mumford and Sons.
We’ve scoured Ticketmaster and Songkick to bring to you a comprehensive list of shows set to arrive in the city over the next fortnight, with tickets either available from Ticketmaster, Dice.FM or if you want to support local traders, you could always pop into Jumbo Records or Crash Records and take a look at the selection of releases they have on offer, also.
We’ve also picked four highlights coming up in the next fortnight that we think will be something for nearly all listening tastes - so what’s caught our attention the next two weeks in Leeds?
Highlights of the fortnight in Leeds
Kneecap - November 21, O2 Academy

The controversial Irish hip-hop trio, Kneecap, bring their raw and subversive show to the O2 Academy on November 21. Hailing from Belfast, the group blends heavy beats and raw energy with politically-charged lyrics delivered primarily in the Irish language.
Known for their chaotic and electrifying live presence, their performance will be an unapologetic celebration of language and culture that promises to be one of the most talked-about gigs of the month.
Lambrini Girls - November 28, PROJECT HOUSE
Prepare for pure punk chaos when Lambrini Girls storm Project House on November 28. This Brighton-based punk-rock trio has quickly become festival favourites for their furious, high-energy live performances and sharp social commentary.
Their abrasive sound is perfectly coupled with a fiercely feminist and queer-affirming ethos, making their show a vital and necessary explosion of confrontational energy. Expect heavy guitar riffs, intense delivery, and an unforgettable commitment to challenging the status quo.
- This event has sold out, sadly
Hans Zimmer Live: The Next Level- November 23, First Direct Bank Arena
Experience the epic sounds of Hollywood when the legendary film composer Hans Zimmer brings his colossal orchestral production, 'Hans Zimmer Live - The Next Level,' to the First Direct Bank Arena on November 23.
This is far more than a screening; it is an immersive, spectacular arena event featuring Zimmer himself alongside his full band, orchestra, and choir. The setlist spans his iconic, cinematic career, featuring scores from blockbusters like The Dark Knight, Inception, and Dune, promising an unforgettable, emotional, and epic auditory experience.
Mumford & Sons - November 30, First Direct Bank Arena
The Grammy-winning British folk-rock giants Mumford & Sons headline the First Direct Bank Arena on November 30. Renowned for their high-energy, communal live shows, the band will deliver a powerful set featuring their signature stadium anthems and multi-platinum hits like 'Little Lion Man' and 'I Will Wait.'
This show is a must-attend event for fans of anthemic folk and acoustic rock, promising a massive sing-along atmosphere and one of the biggest crowd experiences of the late autumn season.
