Fresh off the back of three critically acclaimed, sell-out Edinburgh Fringes, Lorna Rose Troon is set to bring her catalogue of characters to Leeds this Autumn.
Winner of Dave’s Best Joke of the Fringe in 2023 and named as one of The Telegraph’s Top 5 Comedy Shows of 2023, Treen brings her wild and wonderful selection of characters - and a couple of new ones - to the city as part of a larger UK tour, kicking off on September 9 in Glasgow.
The comedian recently completed three sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs, with her 2024 show, 24 Hour Diner People, selling out its entire 30-show run and was named one of The New York Times’ Most Buzzy Shows at the festival.
Such has been the success of her works that both 2023’s Skin Pigeon and 24 Hour Diner People earned transfers to London’s Soho Theatre, while Treen has also been nominated for The Comedian’s Choice Awards.
Her BBC Radio 4 parody series, Time of the Week, won the British Comedy Guide’s Best Radio Sketch Show 2024 and received a nomination for the ARIA’s Best Comedy Award 2025, while her online reach has seen her earn over 180,000 Instagram followers and 141,000 TikTok followers, with her viral sketches amassing over 100 million views.
Drawing from a lifelong obsession with dress-up and a sharp eye for subverting female screen tropes, Lorna Rose Treen creates a surreal universe that pokes fun at everything from Twin Peaks and Love Actually to the pop-culture aesthetics of Sabrina Carpenter.
With her debut tour a curated "greatest hits" of her most whimsical sketches alongside brand-new material, the show invites audiences into a joyful, nostalgic, and delightfully daft world of character comedy.
