Outdoor dog festival with competitions and shopping to come to Leeds this September
A fun and free dog festival is due to arrive in Leeds very soon 🐾
A day of dog-friendly fun will arrive in Leeds next month at the Paws in the Park Festival at Aire Park.
The festival will feature agility runs, light-hearted competitions and an independent market and gifts and will take place on September 12 from 11am-4pm.
Paws in the Park is free for members of the public and their pets to attend, and fun competitions include Loveliest Lady, Best Trickster, Best Rescue Pup, Waggiest Tail and Best in Fancy Dress.

Dogs Trust, the UK’s leading dog welfare charity, will also be in attendance to share information about the work they do to help dogs across the country.
This will be the first time that Paws in the Park has been held in Aire Park after the South Bank green space was opened to the public last year.
The market will feature independent brands selling a wide range of goods including dog treats and accessories, jewellery, and skincare.

Colleen Carter, Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager at Vastint UK said: “Aire Park is continuing to grow and we’re excited to be hosting a range of events. Since our green spaces opened we’ve seen dogs of all sizes and their owners enjoy the area and we wanted to host something special for them with Paws in the Park.
“There are competitions running throughout the day, and a variety of stalls offering pet friendly treats, it promises to be a great day out. I’m sure that everyone will have a pawesome time.”
Ahead of Paws in the Park, Aire Park is inviting dog owners to take pictures of their dogs in the public areas around Aire Park, with the chance to win a Pets at Home gift card.
Entrants need to share their photos on Instagram while tagging @AirePark and typing #AireParkPooch to be in with a chance of winning.
