Indie-pop stalwarts Scouting for Girls are set to bring a night of pure nostalgia and singalong anthems to the O2 Academy this week.

The trio, led by Roy Stride, have remained one of the UK’s most loved touring bands, and their return to Leeds comes as they celebrate nearly two decades of hits.

Since their formation in 2005, the London trio, consisting of childhood friends Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse, and Peter Ellard, has become a staple of the British indie-pop landscape.

Their rise was meteoric; their self-titled debut album famously hit the number one spot in 2008 and went on to sell over a million copies in the UK alone, propelled by the ubiquitous success of "She’s So Lovely," "Elvis Ain’t Dead," and "Heartbeat."

With over two million record sales and a billion global streams to their name, the group’s longevity is a testament to their reputation as one of the hardest-working live acts in the country.

Now, as they prepare to release their newest record, These Are The Good Days, later this week, their Leeds show offers fans a chance to see a band that has successfully transitioned from ‘ones to watch’ to genuine icons of the UK pop-rock scene.

So ahead of their show at the O2 Academy Leeds this Tuesday, here’s everything you need to know ahead of their arrival in the city.
