From real-ice skating and illuminated light trails to festive dining and Santa’s Grottos, Yorkshire Garden Centres is preparing its biggest Christmas season yet across West Yorkshire

From story-led Santa’s Grottos and real ice skating to festive dining, an expanded winter light trail, and a brand-new food market, Yorkshire Garden Centres is preparing its largest Christmas season yet across its regional sites.

The group is set to transform its seven centres - including key West Yorkshire flagship locations at Tong and Tingley - into major seasonal event destinations.

Highlights planned across the group include traditional breakfast and tea sessions with Santa, exclusive evening shopping previews, and festive dining accompanied by live vintage musical entertainment.

Tong Garden Centre will serve as a primary hub for the celebrations, hosting the group's flagship story-led Santa’s Grotto alongside a Festive Preview shopping evening.

Meanwhile, Tingley Garden Centre will feature a brand-new Winter Food Market designed to capture traditional festive market charm, alongside an undercover real-ice rink, an illuminated Light Trail, and the UK's largest Lemax Winter Village display featuring hundreds of animated miniature scenes.

Mark Farnsworth, Managing Director of Yorkshire Garden Centres, said: "Our aim is to give families across Yorkshire a festive experience that works for them, with a different mix of events, dining and entertainment available across all seven of our centres.

“Tong and Tingley lead the programme as our largest festive destinations."
