This weekend’s concert highlights

The Streets (Kirkstall Abbey – Friday)
Headlining the historic 12th-century grounds of Kirkstall Abbey, Mike Skinner and co. hit Leeds for an exclusive open-air performance playing their seminal, story-driven 2004 album ‘A Grand Don’t Come for Free’ in full for the first time.
Supported by CASisDEAD and Antony Szmierek, it’s set to be one of the summer’s standout outdoor shows.
This is the first of two massive live outdoor gigs taking over the Abbey grounds across the weekend. If indie-rock nostalgia is more your speed, local heroes The Sunshine Underground reunite on Saturday 25 July to play their debut album ‘Raise The Alarm’ in full, bringing along an all-star mid-noughties supporting lineup that includes White Lies, Hard-Fi, The Futureheads, and The Twang.
Rum & Reggae Fest Leeds 2026 (PROJECT HOUSE – Saturday)
Taking over the indoor and outdoor spaces at PROJECT HOUSE from 12pm to 9pm, this nine-hour day party brings full island carnival energy straight to Leeds.
The stacked lineup features absolute heavyweights of the scene, including radio icon David Rodigan, sound system royalty Mungo’s Hi Fi, lovers rock legend Janet Kay MBE, and film director/DJ Don Letts.
Beyond the dub-heavy basslines, expect tropical rum punch bars, authentic Jamaican street food, carnival dancers, stilt walkers, and live brass sets from Tanni Browne & The One Love Orchestra.
Ibiza Reloaded with Judge Jules (The Space – Saturday)
For those looking for pure White Isle nostalgia without leaving West Yorkshire, dance royalty Judge Jules takes over The Space in Hirst's Yard.
Running as an exclusive daytime party from 4pm to 10pm, the legendary Judgement Sundays maestro will be dropping six hours of euphoric house, classic trance, and timeless Ibiza anthems.
Backed by a heavyweight local lineup including Andi Durrant, Marc Leaf, and Riley & Durrant, it offers a rare chance to catch a global clubbing icon in an intimate city centre basement setting.
