Meet the adorable Leeds Dogs Trust pooches looking for a new home for Easter
Published 3rd Apr 2026, 11:30 BST
Easter is the time for new beginnings - and today we look at some of the canine companions at Leeds Dogs Trust hoping to start their own new beginning with a forever home.
From underdog Opie, aged eight, a Collie cross Labrador is just one of those who have called the site home for the last year through to Bobby the two-year-old Malinois Spaniel Crossbreed who has had a pretty difficult time in his young life.
They are all looking for new owners to give them a fresh lease of life with a new home this Easter.
Dogs Trust Leeds is open to the public five days a week at the York Road rehoming site.
You don’t need an appointment to visit, see the dogs looking for homes, get advice or apply to adopt.
