The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a cold-health alert for Yorkshire and the Humber, as snow and sleet is forecast for Leeds.
The UKHSA yellow cold-health alert will be in place from 06:00am on Friday February 13 to 08:00am on Monday February 16.

The alert, which has a risk score of seven, with a low impact and medium likelihood, reads: “Forecast weather is likely to have minor impacts on health and social care services, including: increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people and greater risk to life of vulnerable people.”
