The Met Office is forecasting changeable weather in Yorkshire for the weekend, with some sunny spells but also outbreaks of rain expected.
Aidan McGivern, Met Office meteorologist, said: “We see a break in the rain at times this weekend, it's not going to be entirely settled, but it'll be less unsettled. Still low pressure in charge, but these lows are going to be moving through a little quicker, westerlies, rather than south westerlies. That means it's not going to be quite as extraordinarily mild, and it also means that the wet weather won't be coming at us from the south west. Instead, it will be coming in various waves from the west, and there'll be breaks in between so some decent spells of sunshine across central and eastern parts of the UK on Saturday.
“We're going to see outbreaks of rain turn up by the end of the day associated with the next frontal system so certainly for many places, Saturday's the day with the best chance of drier weather, because this front is fairly active as it moves into western parts on Sunday.”

On Saturday November 8, the Met Office is forecasting a dry day with sunny intervals for Leeds. The forecasted highest temperature is 14°C, with the forecasted lowest temperature being 7°C.
On Sunday November 9, Leeds is expected to see light rain by late morning, with the Met Office forecast showing a 60% chance of precipitation from 11:00, changing to a 70% chance of precipitation at 14:00, before returning to a 60% chance of precipitation 15:00. The forecasted highest temperature is 13°C, with the forecasted lowest temperature being 9°C.

A changeable period with variable cloud and outbreaks of rain or showers interspersed with some clearer or brighter interludes. Chilly at times overnight with a few mist and fog patches.
