Leeds United kick-off their next Premier League clash at Sunderland in around 48 hours but have been shaken by some worrying injury news. Daniel Farke held his pre-game press conference on Friday afternoon, during which he revealed a trio of fresh fitness issues for three of his most important attacking players.
Rumours of a foot injury for Dominic Calvert-Lewin were confirmed, the striker on the receiving end of a painful tackle during last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United. In addition, Farke revealed both Anton Stach and Noah Okafor had missed several training sessions in the week.
The triple injury update comes as a potentially huge blow for Leeds at a time where hosts Sunderland are due to welcome back a key striker of their own. Below, the YEP rounds up the latest injury and team news ahead of that Sunday-evening trip to the Stadium of Light.

1. OUT: Romaine Mundle
The 23-year-old forward has regularly been hit with hamstring problems and then suffered a meniscus injury earlier this season. Having undergone surgery, he's expected to be out until early 2027. | Getty Images

2. OUT: Dan Ballard
The towering defender picked up a hamstring injury during the most recent international break and was given a roughly six-week recovery timeline. That means he will almost certainly miss Leeds on Sunday. | Getty Images

3. OUT: Kevin Danso
The centre-back, who had started every game since joining on loan from Tottenham on deadline day, was sent off for denial of a goalscoring opportunity at Bournemouth on Sunday. He will now serve a one-match Premier League ban, missing the visit of Leeds. | Getty Images

4. DOUBT: Thomas Meunier
Meunier suffered a hamstring injury against Brighton earlier this month and as of Wednesday, had been training individually. He missed Thursday's Europa League trip to Lech Poznan and remains doubtful for the weekend. | Getty Images

5. DOUBT: Wilson Isidor
Isidor has now missed Sunderland's trips to Portuguese outfit Torreense, Bournemouth and Lech Poznan due to what Le Bris described as a 'minor injury'. Like Meunier, the striker trained alone on Wednesday and remains a doubt. | Getty Images

6. EXPECTED BACK: Brian Brobbey
A potentially huge boost for Sunderland, with Brobbey expected to return from a hamstring injury this weekend. The physical striker has been in full team training this week and sat out Thursday's trip to Poland, with boss Le Bris revealing he should be ready for Sunday. | Getty Images
