Indie-dance favourites Friendly Fires have announced a return to Yorkshire as part of an exclusive run of intimate UK album release shows.

The tour announcement follows a rapturous return to the stage at London's Moth Club, where the band mixed fan-favourite anthems like ‘Jump In The Pool,’ ‘Paris,’ and ‘Hawaiian Air’ with brand-new material including the latest single ‘Magnetic.’

Speaking about the upcoming run, the band said: "We’re super excited to say we’ll be playing some outstore shows around the release of Dig Deeper in January.

“There’s nothing like the intensity and intimacy of a small sweat box gig for us, and we can’t wait to share some new songs live with you face to face across the UK."

Friendly Fires first burst onto the UK scene in the late 2000s as one of the defining bands of the indie-dance movement.

Their self-titled 2008 debut album earned a Mercury Prize nomination and established their signature mix of euphoric dance grooves, tropical rhythms, and infectious hooks.

Followed by critically acclaimed releases Pala (2011) and Inflorescent (2019), the band built a reputation for high-energy, sweat-soaked live shows.

Their upcoming fourth record, Dig Deeper, draws inspiration from Talking Heads, New Order, and 1980s Balearic beats, marking their return after years spent refining new material.
