Roundhay Festival performer and rising indie star Nieve Ella announces autumn Leeds show

Breakout indie-pop sensation Nieve Ella has officially announced a return to Leeds as part of her upcoming autumn UK tour.

Following a massive breakout period driven by fan-favourite tracks like 'Girlfriend', 'His Car', and 'The Deep', the singer-songwriter has rapidly established herself as one of modern indie-pop's most exciting guitar acts.

Having taught herself guitar during lockdown on her late father’s instrument, the West Midlands-born artist rapidly transformed from posting raw acoustic covers online into one of modern indie-pop's defining young voices.

Crafting a signature sound that blends '90s guitar textures with candid, coming-of-age storytelling, she built a devoted following through a string of acclaimed EPs including Young & Naive, Lifetime of Wanting, and Watch It Ache and Bleed.

Driven by fan-favourite anthems like 'Girlfriend', '19 In A Week', 'His Sofa', and 'Big House', she has picked up backing from BBC Radio 1 and shared stages with the likes of Inhaler and The Courteeners.

The upcoming venue appearance comes hot on the heels of her standout set on the East Stage at Roundhay Festival last month, where she performed to thousands of festivalgoers in the summer sun.

Fans attending the autumn date can expect a high-energy set bridging early career-defining cuts with brand-new material ahead of her debut studio album.

Sharing the stage as special guests for the night are indie outfit Sofia and the Antoinettes.
