North Leeds Food Festival 2026: Arctic Monkeys and Madness tributes to headline 10th anniversary

The North Leeds Food Festival has officially confirmed a massive live music line-up and a brand-new interactive arena to celebrate its landmark tenth anniversary this summer.

Set to return to the iconic surroundings of Roundhay Park on May 9 and 10, the milestone event will pair its famous artisan food spread with high-energy headline sets from two of the UK's leading tribute acts.

On Saturday, the stage will be closed out by The Mardy Bums, the renowned Arctic Monkeys tribute celebrated for their authentic Sheffield-rock sound. They lead that day’s packed bill, which includes the Leeds City Stompers, The Johnny Storm Band, and a sunset session of Ibiza Sax Classics.

Sunday shifts the tempo towards Ska, headlined by Complete Madness. Having toured for over 30 years, they stand as the UK’s longest-running tribute to the genre. The Sunday schedule also features the White Rose Concert Band and the Danny Charles Band.

Speaking on the anniversary, Festival Director Michael Johnston said: "Part of our ethos since the very beginning has been to showcase talent based in the locality, and this line-up is testament to that. We’re extremely grateful for all of the wonderful acts who have helped shape the festival into what it is today."

While staples like the Cookery Theatre and Artisan Markets are confirmed to return, organisers have unveiled the Sizzling Showdown Arena.

This new interactive hub is designed to commemorate the decade-long run, bringing three daily events, all of which are completely free for ticket holders.

The line-up features a Family Dog Show for four-legged stars, a high-stakes Chilli Challenge for those brave enough to handle the heat, and the Foodie Olympics, a reimagined ‘Sports Day’ style competition designed to get the whole audience involved in some light-hearted anniversary games.
