Rising indie band set to perform at Armley Festival this weekend - and tickets are free
After supporting Geese on tour, Westside Cowboy are heading to Armley Festival 🎶
A rising indie band have been revealed as a “very last-minute addition” to Armley Festival’s music line-up.
English rock band Westside Cowboy will perform on the main stage at Armley Festival alongside pop-punk outfit Dulakes, indie-rock group Tiger Island, and folk trio Lonan.
The annual festival will take place tomorrow (September 12) on Armley Moor from 12pm-6pm.

Westside Cowboy are an exciting up-and-coming band from Manchester formed in Manchester in 2023.
Last year, the band won Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition which kickstarted their career in the indie music scene.
Fans of American rock band Geese may recognise Westside Cowboy, as the rising stars supported them on their 2026 tour across the UK and Europe.
The band have a sound self-described as ‘Britainicana’, a blend of indie rock and country music.
As their debut album It Goes On was praised by NME, Westside Cowboy are truly an exciting addition to the Armley Festival line-up.
A spokesperson from Armley Action Team said: “It’s a very last-minute addition to the Main Stage and we are ridiculously excited to have them joining us.
“Considering Armley Moor has already made an appearance on one of their album covers, it feels pretty special to now have them playing right here on the Moor too.”
Beyond music, Armley Festival visitors can expect a range of independent market stalls, and community appearances from organisations such as Interplay Theatre, Meeting Point Leeds, and Yum Community Fridge and Pantry.
The family-friendly event is free to attend and no booking is required to attend.
