Fresh off a 41-date arena tour across Europe and the United Kingdom earlier in the year as special guests of Volbeat, Manchester doom-punks Witch Fever are preparing to do it all over again in 2026, with Leeds one of the destinations for the band once again.
The uncompromising outfit that seamlessly blends grunge, punk and a touch of gothic melancholy, is looking, however, to return to the intimate energy of smaller venues on this tour, with vocalist Amy Walpole emphasising the band’s excitement to return to that ‘intimacy.’

“We spent two months touring arenas with Volbeat, and we kinda missed the intimacy of smaller shows and sweating with u all, so this will be fun !! We wanna see all your faces alright, so come!!!”
Their latest album, FEVEREATEN, managed to buck the dreaded ‘sophomore slump’ upon release, with critics calling the album a “staggering advancement” for the band. Kerrang!, in their four-star review, commented that the work is “black, richer, more refined,” while Far Out, in their four-star review, called the work “modern doom metal at its very best.”
Renowned for their blistering, high-intensity live shows that create an atmosphere of urgent rage and empowerment, the chance to see Witch Fever in a more up-close-and-personal setting will no doubt be a highlight for many alternative music fans on the already bustling Leeds music calendar during the winter months.
