Caribbean street food favourite Jerk Junction announces arrival at Trinity Kitchen
Foodie fans in the city are set for a taste of the sunshine as one of the North West’s most popular Caribbean concepts prepares to join the Trinity Kitchen line-up.
Serving up real, authentic Caribbean flavours, Jerk Junction has officially confirmed it will be landing at Trinity Kitchen this spring.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere and traditional cooking methods, the street food favourite is on a mission to bring "good food and good vybz" to the heart of Leeds city centre.
The menu is set to be a celebration of Jamaican heritage, featuring signature dishes that have already earned the brand a cult following in Manchester, Liverpool, and Wilmslow.

Shoppers can look forward to flame-grilled jerk chicken that has been marinated for 24 hours and packed with authentic island spices, alongside traditional curried goat, which is slow-cooked and served with classic rice and peas.
To complete the experience, the kitchen will serve up a variety of signature sides, including handmade fried dumplings, plantain, and their famous spicy jerk gravy.
Importantly for the local community, all meat served at Jerk Junction is halal, ensuring their authentic island flavours are accessible to even more foodies in the city.
Speaking about the arrival of Jerk Junction to Trinity Kitchen, Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, commented: “We’re so excited to be welcoming Jerk Junction to Trinity Kitchen. Bringing an authentic Caribbean flavour to Leeds, it’s the perfect new addition and complements our already stellar line-up of street food vendors.”
Jake Shaffi, founder at Jerk Junction, added: “Jerk Junction is all about real Caribbean food and culture. For us, food is family. From our kitchen to every person who comes to our counter, we want people to feel the warmth, the energy and the spirit of the islands.
“We can’t wait to bring those good vibes to Trinity Kitchen.”
The arrival of Jerk Junction is just the latest in a wave of major announcements for the shopping centre.
As 2026 progresses, Trinity Leeds is undergoing a significant transformation with several high-profile openings and relocations planned for the coming months, including Lane7 at the old Wilkos Albion Street site, flagship Footasylum and schuh stores and the popular LEGO Store relocating to a larger unit to cope with demand.
