St Patrick's Day 2026: The 14 Wetherspoons pubs in Leeds slashing Guinness prices to £3.49
From Headingley to the City Station, Leeds is painting the town green this Tuesday as Wetherspoon venues roll out exclusive Irish brews and bargain pints.
While the streets of Leeds may be quieter this year following the cancellation of the annual St Patrick's Day Parade, the celebration is moving indoors.
Fourteen Wetherspoon pubs across the city and surrounding suburbs have confirmed a massive one-day-only drinks deal for Tuesday, March 17th. Leading the charge is the iconic pint of Guinness, priced from just £3.49.
For the craft beer fans, Kildare-based Rye River Brewing Co. has created an exclusive ‘Brogue Irish Red’ (4.4% ABV) specifically for the occasion. Described as a malty red ale with notes of biscuit and caramel, it’ll be pouring from a bargain £1.99 a pint.
If you're looking for something shorter, the pubs are also serving up Baby Guinness shots (£3.99) and single measures of Jameson Irish Whiskey with a mixer for £3.49.
Maria Church, manager of The Three Hulats in Chapel Allerton, said: "We believe our St Patrick’s Day drinks prices offer great value for money. We look forward to welcoming customers into the pub to celebrate on the day."
The scale of consumption on Tuesday will be staggering already; on a typical day, around 5.5 million pints of Guinness are enjoyed worldwide. On St Patrick’s Day, that number more than doubles to an estimated 13 million pints.
